Dixon's hose coupling school consists of a classroom session and a hands-on session.
The classroom session covers tips and techniques on the measuring and cutting of a hose, coupling selection based upon application and proper coupling installation. Following are some of the topics that are discussed and/or demonstrated: coupling inserter, banding equipment, Boss clamp installation, strapping and buckles, external swaging, internal expansion, Holedall petroleum and hydrostatic testing. The hands-on session provides an excellent opportunity to receive personalized training from our own expert technicians on the techniques and equipment observed in the classroom session. |
